Photographs can never convey the full power of mosaics.

They may capture a piece's color, composition, and patterning. But, much will be lacking in the viewer's experience. The texture of  the materials, the reflectivity of the surfaces, the varying depths of tesserae, the context of piece's placement in situ - all of these things and more are what make mosaics unique among art forms.

What we offer here in our galleries is merely a hint, a peek, a tease of the intense experience one may have when viewing a mosaic in person. You will find a treasure trove of styles, materials, and usages. Representative, abstract, and decorative. Pebbles, stained glass, smalti, beads, ceramics, vitreous tile, shells, marble, found objects, and mirror. Sculpture, wall hangings, floors, backsplashes, and public installations. They're all here.

Perhaps you're here as a newcomer to mosaics, looking for inspiration. Or maybe you're an architect or interior designer looking for possibilities. Whatever your reason for getting here, welcome! And prepare to be dazzled!
