|The Chicago Mosaic School|

CMS offers all students a wonderful approach to color theory in this 2-day workshop taught by Visiting Artist Carolina Zanelli. This course is focused on color theory as applied to mosaic. Mixes of color, color graduation, palette and brightness will be explored with a hands on approach and exercises designed to gain greater ease in applying color in your work. Ms. Zanelli is a 1994 graduate of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Spilimbergo, Italy. She was an instructor at that school for 7 years and continues to teach courses both there and overseas. Her studio creates commissioned works (including one for the International Centre of Bethlehem), as well as her own works that have been featured in private and personal exhibitions throughout Italy. We are excited to have this kind and knowledgeable instructor at CMS for the exclusive workshop.
