Featured Presentations
We plan for up to 6 presentations/ panel discussions to the full group of registered attendees to occur on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6, 2017. This year, we have invited a few special guests to present unique topics in Detroit (to be announced in late November!) We will accept proposals for a few additional presentations to round out the program. Presentations and panel discussions are typically 40-50 minutes in length. Attendees represent an active and enthusiastic segment of our membership whose experience with mosaic art spans from enthusiasts and beginners to established business owners and mosaic masters. The goal of the program is to provide attendees with knowledge and inspiration that is not readily available to them in their region and that helps them reach their individual goals toward excellence in mosaic arts.
An Evening with the Pros
A special night of professional discussions is planned for Wednesday, May 3, 2017. This program has become a highlight for attendees each year! We hope to offer another strong series of content for professionals and aspiring professionals in Detroit. Attendance will be open to all registered attendees for this series of business and professional artist focused discussions designed to meet the needs of our professional members looking to improve their business skills, take their work to a new market, expand their outreach, and grow their art business. The series will inspire, motivate, and equip emerging professional members with knowledge they need to make the transition toward a full time art career. Please use the Presentation Proposal Form to submit topics for consideration for this evening.
Invited Presenters are offered a modest honorarium and given one complimentary conference registration in gratitude for participating in our Conference.
