Hollows by Natalia Garcia
Hollows is a surfers beach in my hometown Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The waves of this beach attracts all year round surfers from different parts of the Island. My mosaic represents a small piece of my heart, the undulations and elevations represents the blue water of the Atlantic Ocean, and the sand that always accompanies de water. Each undulation is made of mesh and cover by apoxie. The waves are cover by beautiful materials like glass, beads, smalti and seashells. Mosaic is 7.5″ x 9.5′, and comes with a frame that is 9 x 11 with 4″ depth
Materials: Glass, rods, seashell, smalti, beads
