Old San Juan Courtyard by Nilsa Class
This is a framed “Bas Relief” technique enhancing a Spaniard open courtyard within the historical Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. The use of a variety of materials depict open corridor area and its colonnade, fractured wall finishes, roof overhangs, ground coverings of the times and the use of numerous variety of pots for plants throughout. Electrical pole with local birds contrast with the Caribbean skies.
Materials: Stained Glass, tiles, metals, stringers and metal wires, rocks/pebbles and slate.
