Darcel Deneau, Joan Schwartz and Ruth Tyszka will all be featured in an upcoming three-women exhibition, “Just Desserts” featuring dynamic new mixed media work including mosaics, sculpture and installations. The exhibit explores the traditional role of desserts in everyday life and how that relates to the individual and society. The imagery of dessert is the common thread by which these three artists explore a variety of subjects within contexts that range from intimately personal to communal, including the woman’s role.
