Price: $475 (Includes $50 materials fee)

This class is intended for students who want to get a better understanding of composition and drawing as it relates to mosaics.
As a former painter, I will guide students on applying simple painting fundamentals to mosaic projects with the intention of making a mosaic look more realistic and similar to an impressionistic painting. Multiple photos of outdoor landscapes or structure/s will be provided for the students to choose. We will learn how to proportionally draw our image onto our substrate. We will discuss perspective, glass placement and the importance of an extensive palate.
Materials for Participants to Bring
- Bring your own tools: glass cutter, nippers, tweezers, etc.
- Bring special glass or materials that are meaningful.
- Any other items from your studio that make you comfortable; safety glasses, apron, etc.
