Mosaic portrait online workshop
Online workshop via Zoom meetings and a private Facebook group
The workshop will run from April 30th to May 21st / 2022. The online classes via Zoom will take place on Saturday 30th, Sunday 1st, Tuesday 5th, Saturday 7th, Saturday 14th and Saturday 21stat 4pm US west coast-7 pm US east coast

GOALS
- To make a creative human portrait, starting from a photograph and using mosaic art as the medium.
- To carry out a personal artistic project and develop it fully in its various stages.
- To draw the model with precision and detail.
- Precisely cut and position very small pieces.
CONCEPTS COVERED
-The human face: proportions, structure, rhythms.
-Different andamentos and styles for mosaic portraiture.
-Lights, shadows and colors in the face.
-The human portrait in ancient and contemporary mosaic.
-Integral development of a personal artistic project.

A couple of additional classes may be added according to each group’s requirements. There will be an individual follow up by a private Facebook group between classes everyday. Students who cannot complete their project within the duration of the workshop will continue receiving individualized support until their work is complete.
This workshop has a total cost of $300 US dollars. Payment is made via PayPal. To book, send an email to amufarrege.mosaico@gmail.com with the subject REGISTRATION and we will send you the invoice to make the payment.
