The Connecting Project is a response to COVID-19 initiated by a group of ten international mosaic artists from around the globe who met during Giulio Menossi’s invited artists’ “Simposio #4 Ploaghe, Sardenha, Italia – 2019”. Working across a 14 hour time zone difference, these artists developed a structure for the occurrence of all types of artists to participate in the act of connecting to one another in spite of isolation and restrictions. Initially an online only project, the project seeks to embrace all types of artists and imagines developing a catalog of wide-ranging disciplines of work that can be curated differently for many galleries all over the world.
