‘Take Five’ features work from five well-known artists of mosaic from five different countries, creating a visually rhythmic and harmonic arrangement of color, medium, shape, and materials.

The result is a discourse between light and shade, the internal and the external, stillness and movement, depth and surface play.

Like a jazz quintet, each artwork individually extols a singular voice for mosaic and together they sing of the wonders and magic within their medium. The exhibition shows work by:

The exhibition opened on Saturday, June 2 and runs until Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Elaine’s Couches Gallery.
