Translucent Grout! Come Try A New, Non-toxic, Way to Grout Mosaics! with Jolynn Foreman
Friday, October 31, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Workshop: Hands-On
All Levels: Technical Development
Price: $105 (Includes $10 Materials Fee)
Have you ever grouted a mosaic and hated how the grout changed the “look” of your final piece? Or struggled to pick the right color grout for a complicated mosaic? Come try Litokol Crystal Evo Translucent Grout! It blurs the glass colors together to give the final look a more watercolor or painted feel to the final mosaic. The grout is completely waterproof and non-toxic. This class will allow you to make a small mosaic (4×4) from glass scraps, then try the grout on your piece. You will see examples of it being used inside and outside, along with how the grout is changing our mosaic world. All supplies are included, but it is suggested you bring your own small mosaic to grout if you wish. There will be a lecture, hands-on time, and a Q&A section of the workshop. All levels of ability are welcome. This class is being taught by Jolynn Forman, who has pieces using translucent grout in museums and galleries across the United States.
