Evergreen Brick Works will play host to a collection of Julie Sperling’s climate change mosaics from November 12, 2015 to March 6, 2016 (in the Young Welcome Centre). Come explore these mosaics first hand and then experience what Evergreen Brick Works has to offer. The site has a rich geologic, industrial, and graffiti history, and her mosaics will feel right at home there.
There will be an artist talk—“Climate in pieces: A mosaicist’s perspective on climate change“—on Saturday, November 14 at 10am. Learn about the series, “Fiddling while Rome burns” and Julie’s artistic process, and ask any questions you might have.
