Elizabeth writes: I’ve been collecting art of all sorts from friends, students and places I’ve traveled for many decades. The walls are covered, and you should see the boxes – HA!! The mosaic that I saw growing up, a shell portrait of Abraham Lincoln done by my great Aunt Sonia for my grandfather, who worked for Lincoln National Life insurance company is included, along with a couple made by my sister Gila and two pieces I purchased in Mosaic Salons at a couple of SAMA conferences. I must apologize that one mosaic piece that I received through online exchange many, many years ago, wasn’t signed, so don’t have the name of the artist. (If you’re out there, feel free to let me know & we can change that!) Let this be a lesson to all to sign your names, so when your collectors move into their senior brain years, you can still be properly credited!!!
