Judy Davis writes: The first mosaic I ever received was from a mosaic artist exchange. It was the In Vino Veritas piece I have in the photo. The following year started many exchanges with mosaic artist friends. Every single one is hanging and enjoyed daily.
The three serious pieces I actually bought were from Ilana Shafir, Sonia King, and Lynne Chinn. These three works I fell in love with and since all were from my teachers, friends, and mentor they were important acquisitions.
I have also bought many mosaics at the annual salon during our conferences. I bought them always because I loved them, but honestly, a big reason was the support of a fellow artist.
